Moeller HMK S243 Porcelanato impregnation is a ready-to-use, special impregnating agent. The product reduces the penetration of water, dirt, oil and grease into polished, ground and unglazed porcelain stoneware and Asian bluestone tiles for indoors and outdoors. The color and structure are hardly affected by this impregnating agent.
How do you use Moeller HMK S243 Porcelanato?
Switch off the underfloor heating, let the surface cool to its natural temperature, clean it thoroughly (use Moeller HMK for this). R161) and then allow the surface to dry thoroughly (max residual moisture content 2-4%) Apply HMK S243 evenly with a soft brush or a roller with short bristles. If necessary, treat absorbent surfaces again after approx. 60 minutes. Remove excess HMK S243 completely before drying with a wiper, cloths or tissue paper. Outside and on facades, HMK S243 can also be sprayed onto the material to be treated (airless). Any excess impregnation can be removed with turpentine within 12 hours. After drying for 12 hours, HMK R154 Lösefix - water-soluble should be used.
What is the drying time?
Drying time depends on temperature and air circulation, approximately 4-8 hours. Do not step on the surface during this time. Do not treat or contaminate surfaces of rubber and plastics, painted materials and surfaces that are not resistant to solvents with this product. The effect of the product develops in 48 hours.
