Which surfaces can I remove limescale from?
The product has been specially developed for cleaning pipework, ceramics, glazed tiles, stoneware, glass and acid-resistant natural stone surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom and wet room. Not all natural stone is acid-resistant! For example, do not clean hard stone or marble with the Moeller HMK R189 Lime-Ex, use other agents such as the Moeller HMK R155 acid-free soil cleaner. The Moeller HMK R189 comes with a handy spray head, so you can get started right away!
Which rooms is this product suitable for?
The kitchen and bathroom in particular are areas where a lot of limescale can occur . You can actually clean all areas with acid-resistant materials with the Moeller HMK R189. It is important that the surface can withstand acids.
How do I remove limescale with the Moeller HMK R189?
Removing limescale with the Moeller HMK R189 is a piece of cake thanks to the handy spray head. If you use this product on cement joints, first wet these joints with clear water before using the R189. You can easily spray the R189 Lime-Ex evenly onto the surface to be cleaned. Allow this product to work briefly (do not let it dry). Then use a sponge, brush or suitable pad to rub in the solution to ensure that the limescale is properly removed. After scrubbing, it is important that you rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water. No residues of R189 Kalk-Ex may be left behind. If the surface is very persistently contaminated with limescale, it may be necessary to use the HMK R189 more often to remove limescale. You can then repeat this procedure. The consumption is approximately 5 to 10 m2 per 500ml bottle.
