The Moeller HMK R157 intensive tile cleaner is a mildly alkaline solvent-free special cleaner for many applications. This product removes residues of maintenance products and greasy/oily layers from ceramic tiles. This cleaning agent is very effective on unglazed tiles, but also suitable for use on glazed tiles, porcelain stoneware, cotto tiles, brick, clay tiles and clinkers. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Polished and glazed surfaces are not affected.
This intensive tile cleaner removes residues of maintenance products (film layer), oily and greasy layers, construction pollution. For both indoors and outdoors.
How do you use the Moeller HMK R157?
Before you start, it is always recommended to read the instructions on the packaging carefully. Before you start treatment, test the product on an inconspicuous place or on a loose tile to determine the mixing degree, effect and working time.
If there is underfloor heating, switch it off and let the tiled floor cool down to its original state. natural temperature. It should not be too hot, otherwise the cleaning ingredients in the product cannot do their work properly.
Depending on the type and degree of contamination, HMK R157 can be diluted. In general, the following can be used: dilute 1:2 to 1:20 with clear water. For very heavy contamination use HMK R157 1:1. The product can be applied while mopping. Then let it work for a few minutes and scrub in between. The Moeller HMK R157 must not dry on the surface. After the exposure time and scrubbing, rinse the surface with plenty of clear water so that all contamination is removed from the surface. If this is not done, there is a chance that contamination will dry on the tiled floor.
Be careful with undiluted HMK R157 on sensitive surfaces, such as wood, various plastics, painted and varnished surfaces and the like. Rinse off splashes immediately. When using a water vacuum cleaner, we recommend placing HMK Z702 Defoamer in the water vacuum cleaner (this reduces foam formation).
If the above was intended for maintenance, the floor can be put back into use immediately. If the above was intended to subsequently protect the floor, allow the floor to dry for 24 hours.
What is the consumption of Moeller HMK R157?
The required amount of HMK R157 depends on the suction power of the surface and the degree of contamination. In general, the following can be assumed: 1 liter of HMK R157 in 2 liters of clear water is approximately 10 m² and 1 liter of HMK R157 in 20 liters of water is approximately 80 m².
