Metalino Steel Wool grade 00 (package 200 grams) is a universal first quality steel wool. This steel wool 00 can be used for cleaning, leveling and polishing various stone surfaces. In addition to stone surfaces, this special wool is also suitable for thorough sanding and cleaning of various other surfaces. This includes gas stoves, pans, tools and textiles. You can also use the steel wool to remove rust and stains.

Cleaning natural stone
When cleaning natural stone you apply a acid-free cleaning agent such as Moeller HMK R155 to the natural stone surface. Then rub it carefully with the steel wool. After this, you can dry the surface and see if the stain has disappeared. If the stain has not disappeared, repeat this treatment. When polishing natural stone or buffing up matte spots, apply a little polishing wax to the wool. You can then rub the wool on the natural stone. You can then remove the remainder from the natural stone with a dry microfiber cloth or lint-free cloth.
Remove anti-limescale or stubborn stains from natural stone.
Apply the natural stone cleaner neat to the stains . Then let the product work for a few minutes. After this, you will treat the stains with Metalino steel wool. Make circular movements with the steel wool. Keep in mind never to do this in one place for too long. If you do this, you can get a higher shine in these places. Repeat this again if necessary.
Remove limescale.
Apply the natural stone cleaner mixed with water to the surface to be treated. Then let it work for a few minutes. Then carefully wipe the surface with the steel wool. You should remove limescale on natural stone periodically, for example once every 2 months.
