The Flexis hand pad comes from the KGS gold line. This diamond hand pad is a patented product; made from a special flexible foam block that is covered with diamonds. The diamond hand pad is suitable for various materials and applications. Suitable for hand sanding and polishing materials such as granite, marble, bluestone as well as composites and ceramics. Ideal for quickly repairing small scratches or damage. Thanks to the diamond, the hand pads have an extremely long lifespan compared to normal sandpaper.

Which grit hand pad for natural stone do I need?
The Flexis Hand Pads are available in the following grit sizes: Green K60, Black K120, Red K200, Yellow K400, White K800, Blue K1500, Orange K3000. Which grit you need for your job depends on the hardness of the stone, but in general the following can be adhered to.
Grit 60 and 120 - for sanding the stone.
Grin 200, 400 and 500 - for roughing or a honed finish of the stone.
Grinth 1500 and 3000 - for polishing the stone.
The final finish and the steps to get there also depend on of the type of stone on which the hand pad is used.
Which type of hand pad do I need; KGS Swiflex or Flexis?
At Steenschoon we sell two types of hand pads from KGS, the Flexis and Swiflex. Which type of hand pad is suitable for you depends on your wishes and what you are going to do with the hand pads. The KGS Flexis comes from the KGS gold line and has a longer lifespan than the KGS Swiflex. If you often use hand pads, we certainly recommend using the Flexis hand sanding blocks. If you only need a hand pad once or less frequently, the KGS Swiflex is a good choice.
