Product description
Seal-Guard Gold Label the fastest drying impregnating agent on the market!
Seal-Guard Gold Label Impregnating Agent is suitable for applications on many types of tiling and masonry surfaces, including joints (damp, wet or dry), natural stone, sandstone, terracotta, stucco, concrete, brick, saltillo tiles, porcelain stoneware, marble and granite.
The Seal-Guard Gold Label Impregnating Agent is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. In addition, Seal Guard's Gold Label Impregnator is breathable and contains no silicones/siloxanes. Gold-Label has the advantage that it can be applied to damp surfaces, shortly after laying a tile floor or grouting. It is therefore not necessary to wait weeks or months before impregnating after laying a floor, as with many other products on the market.
This impregnating agent is also ideal as a pre-treatment for grouting, which makes removal of the cement layer becomes easier. Due to the rapid rejection, the tiler can continue working immediately in this case and does not have to return 1 or 2 days later. The advantage is that you do not have to pay extra for a tiler.
Gold Label is a very fast drying impregnating agent
Gold Label is the fastest drying product on the impregnating agent market. Seal Guard Gold Label has a drying time of no less than 30 to 60 seconds. After drying, the surface also immediately has a repellent effect. The big advantage of Gold Label compared to other impregnating agents is that most floors can be walked on again after approximately 1.5 hours.
Need more time?
Seal-Guard impregnating agent for porcelain stoneware and stone is the slower drying variant of the Gold Label impregnating agent, also containing solvent but with a drying time of approximately 30-40 minutes. There is a repellent effect immediately after drying. Floors can be walked on again after 1-2 hours. The advantage of this impregnating agent is that the slower drying makes it easier to see where you left off with the impregnation. Useful for large surfaces.
Instructions for use Seal-Guard Gold Label Impregnating agent:
You should use this impregnating agent unprocessed. First try the Seal-Guard Gold Label Impregnating Agent on an inconspicuous spot. This allows you to check whether it is suitable for the intended use. The surface must be clean and dry and free of wax, protective and finishing layers and mortar/cement film. Use Seal-Guard All Clean to clean the surface. Cover painting or staining work next to the surface to be treated. Apply in a thin, even coat with a pump sprayer, airless sprayer, brush, cloth, mop or roller.
One coat is usually sufficient. However, on more porous surfaces such as terracotta and sandstone and on high traffic surfaces, a second coat is recommended. This is to ensure optimal protection. Wait at least twenty minutes before applying the second coat. The drying and hardening time of a treated surface is approximately 2.5 hours. For best results, it is best to keep the floor dry and dirt-free for at least 24 hours.
For highly polished surfaces, such as porcelain stoneware, marble or granite, a second coat is recommended. Polish small areas before the second coat dries. Allow larger surfaces to dry and harden for 24 hours. If desired, you can easily remove small residues with a damp cloth.
Consumption:
One liter is sufficient for approximately 40 m², depending on the material to be treated and the method of application.
Can also be used as a pre-treatment
Ideal for use as a preparatory agent for grouting, to prevent mortar stains and to make it easier to remove excess mortar / cement veils from the stone surface.
The maintenance of the surfaceFirst clean heavily soiled surfaces thoroughly with Seal-Guard All Clean. The use of cleaning agents such as scouring powders, ammonia, acids or bleach is unnecessary and can also be harmful to natural stone. For normal daily or weekly maintenance, we recommend the use of Seal-Guard Stone Clean.
